Marc Ochs, LMT

Marc Ochs, LMT, BCTMB (he/him) is a graduate of the Swedish Institute of Health Sciences. At school, he focused on the Western track of Swedish massage, and so he focuses on those proven techniques of Deep Tissue massage, Myofascial Release, and neuromuscular facilitation – while incorporating gems from Shiatsu and Reflexology trainings into his sessions. Following up on his desire to elevate his knowledge, analytical abilities, treatments, and the profession, Marc recently became Board Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork by NCBTMB.

After studies in Mathematics and Philosophy and a full career in IT, a dedicated Yoga asana practice helped Marc repeatedly transform his body and mind. After finding healing in the many connections from Yoga asana and completing a 200-hour YTT, Marc realized he was a full-on anatomy geek, and was drawn to follow the path of Massage as a way to be of benefit by working with all bodies towards healing and wellbeing. Choosing skillfully from a quiver of techniques and sequencing, Marc creates a plan to address each client’s needs to work towards their goals in a safe and supportive environment. He loves to work with engaged clients and offer supportive suggestions that they can incorporate into their day.

In his spare time, you might find Marc taking a power yoga class, chanting the Heart Sutra, fishing, hiking, or cooking a fabulous meal for his family.
