We want every visit at Bodyworks DW to feel smooth, respectful, and transparent. Clear guidelines are what make it possible for us to create a true win–win–win — where clients, therapists, and the studio are all treated fairly and with respect. Think of these policies as our way of keeping things smooth, transparent, and sustainable for everyone. They’re not here to trip you up or nickel-and-dime you — they’re here so you always know what to expect and so our therapists can keep giving their best. And honestly, we know you’ll follow them — because you were raised right… right? 😉

With that in mind, here are our full policies on gratuities, packages, late arrivals, and payment — so you know exactly what to expect.

Gratuities

The massage therapy we provide is medical and therapeutic in nature, not luxury spa service. Our prices are set to fairly compensate our therapists without requiring gratuities.

  • Tips are never required, though always appreciated.
  • At checkout, you’ll see a screen with tip options — simply select the amount that feels right for you, or choose “no tip.”
  • Either way, you’ll always receive the same high level of care.

Packages

When you purchase a package, you are locking in savings for a specific therapist level and session length.

  • Packages are not transferable between therapist levels or session lengths.
  • If you book outside your package (different level or session length), you’ll simply pay the regular session rate for that visit.
  • After a studio-wide rate increase, you have 12 months to complete any package at the old rate. After that, you’ll need to upgrade to the new rate (with one package allowed at the previous rate).
  • If your therapist is promoted to a higher level, you can continue using your package at their old rate for up to 6 months. After that, you’ll need to upgrade or purchase a new package at the new level (again, one package honored at the old rate).

Late Arrivals

To respect everyone’s time:

  • If you arrive late, your session will still end at the originally scheduled time.
  • This ensures our therapists can properly prepare for their next client and keep the schedule running smoothly.
  • Even a shorter session can make a big difference — it’s always better than missing out entirely.

Payment

We accept cash, all major credit cards, and Apple Pay.

  • However you choose to pay for a session, a current, valid credit card must be kept on file for all clients. This allows us to fairly enforce our cancellation policy.
  • If you prefer, you are always welcome to pay in cash at the end of your session.

Rates are all-inclusive. Our therapists are compensated with higher commissions so they’re rewarded fairly, without needing gratuities to “make up the difference.”

FAQ

Why do you require a credit card on file?
It ensures we can fairly enforce our 24-hour cancellation policy, so therapists are paid for reserved time even if a session is missed.

Do I have to tip my therapist?
No — our pricing is set to fairly compensate therapists without gratuities. Tips are always appreciated but never required.

What happens if I arrive late?
Your session will still end at the scheduled time. Even a shorter session can make a real difference, and this keeps the schedule fair for everyone.

How long do I have to use my package?
