WHY Jessamyn
Precise work.
Clear next steps.
Jessamyn combines a registered nurse’s clinical knowledge with decades of advanced massage training, giving her an unusually thorough understanding of complex and post-surgical conditions.
RN + LMT, together
Her nursing background gives her a clinical depth that goes beyond standard massage training—especially valuable for complex or medically involved cases.
Deep experience with complex conditions
Spinal stenosis, spondylolisthesis, herniated discs, spinal fusions, hip and knee replacements, spinal cord injuries, and amputees are all conditions she has direct experience treating.
Collaborative care
She has worked alongside chiropractors and physicians caring for patients in post-surgical recovery, and is comfortable coordinating within a broader care team.
Thorough, tailored assessment
Through postural assessment and careful inquiry into lifestyle and medical history, she fine-tunes her approach to relieve symptoms and reset negative patterns.
Best Fit
Is Jessamyn the right therapist for you?
A great fit if you:
•Are recovering from surgery, including hip or knee replacement
•Have a complex spinal condition like stenosis, spondylolisthesis, or a herniated/bulging disc
•Have had a spinal fusion, spinal cord injury, or are living with limb loss
•Want a therapist who can coordinate closely with your physician or chiropractor
•Value a thorough intake into your medical history and lifestyle before treatment begins
Not the best fit if you want:
•A quick, no-intake session with minimal discussion of medical history
•A purely relaxation-only, spa-style session

What shapes Jessamyn's work
Jessamyn graduated from The Swedish Institute of Massage Therapy in 1998 and is also a registered nurse—a combination that gives her an unusually deep grasp of anatomy and physiology. That knowledge was evident even as a student, when she tutored fellow classmates in the subject.
Over the years, she has pursued continuing education in Myofascial Release at The Swedish Institute, Anatomy Trains Cadaver Dissection, Sports Massage, Prenatal work, and Intraoral/Buccal Massage. She has worked alongside chiropractors and physicians caring for patients in post-surgical recovery, and with acute and chronic pain conditions including spinal stenosis, spondylolisthesis, bulging and herniated discs, spinal fusions, hip replacements, and knee replacements. Her experience also extends to spinal cord injuries and amputees.
In session, Jessamyn uses a combination of Deep Tissue and Myofascial Release techniques to address each client’s concerns. Through postural assessment and thorough inquiry into lifestyle habits and medical history, she fine-tunes her approach to relieve symptoms and reset negative patterns.
