Lead Massage Therapist
Kelly Herzbrun, LMT
Kelly Herzbrun, LMT (she/her) takes a structured, holistic approach to therapeutic massage, combining grounded assessment with targeted hands-on work. Her sessions focus on relieving stress-driven tension, correcting muscular imbalances, and helping clients move with greater ease in ways that hold between visits.
Since graduating massage school, Kelly has continued her clinical development through advanced in-house mentorship and ongoing continuing education within the Bodyworks DW system, refining her ability to identify pattern-driven pain and apply treatment progressively across sessions. Her work blends myofascial release, trigger point therapy, and focused deep tissue techniques with steady pacing and clear clinical intent.
She frequently works with clients managing disc herniations and nerve-related symptoms, recovering from muscle or connective tissue tears, and addressing postural strain patterns such as tech neck and desk-related shoulder tension.

WHY Kelly
Precise work.
Clear next steps.
Kelly brings a thoughtful, steady presence to the treatment room. Her work balances attentive listening with focused, hands-on technique—ideal for clients who want both stress relief and meaningful structural change.
Whole-body perspective influenced by yoga & Eastern practice
Kelly’s long-standing background in yoga and Eastern wellness practices informs how she sees patterns across the entire system. Rather than isolating one painful area, she looks at how breath, posture, and global tension habits contribute to strain.
This lens makes her especially effective with stress-driven holding patterns, asymmetry from repetitive work, and clients who feel “tight everywhere” but can’t pinpoint why. Her sessions move from broader integration into targeted correction, helping the body reorganize—not just unwind.
Deep in-house clinical training
Since graduating massage school, Kelly has trained extensively within the Bodyworks DW system, completing all of David’s continuing education courses and refining her clinical reasoning through direct mentorship. She understands the structured, assessment-first approach inside and out and applies it with precision.
Her training isn’t theoretical—it’s practical and ongoing. In fact, when David needs structural work himself, Kelly is one of the therapists he trusts to deliver it. That speaks to her ability to apply advanced concepts with confidence and consistency.
Best Fit
Is Kelly the right therapist for you?
A great fit if you:
• Ongoing stress that shows up physically (neck, shoulders, jaw, mid-back)
• Muscular imbalance from desk work or repetitive movement
• Clients who want therapeutic work with a calm, steady pace
• Those looking to combine structural work with nervous-system regulation
• Clients open to a series when patterns are long-standing
Not the best fit if you want:
A spa-only relaxation massage with no assessment or plan
• Extremely aggressive pressure without pacing or communication
• A quick “fix” mindset without follow-through

What shapes Kelly's work
Kelly’s path into massage therapy grew out of her long-standing personal practice in yoga and Eastern wellness traditions. Through that experience, she developed a strong appreciation for how stress, breath, posture, and muscular imbalance interact throughout the body.
After completing her massage therapy training at Queensborough Community College, she refined a hands-on style that integrates structure with sensitivity. Shiatsu informs her sense of fascial continuity and energetic flow. Myofascial release supports deeper structural change. Swedish techniques help regulate the nervous system and improve circulation. Together, these approaches create sessions that are both grounded and effective.
Kelly works especially well with clients navigating high stress loads, desk-related tension, and movement restrictions that feel persistent but not necessarily acute. Her goal is not just short-term relief, but helping clients move more efficiently over time.
Clients often describe her sessions as steady, focused, and quietly powerful—calm without being passive, therapeutic without being overwhelming.
