WHY Jovaughn
Precise work.
Clear next steps.
Jovaughn combines hands-on experience with athletic training and kinesiology knowledge, helping clients not just feel better—but understand how to stay better.
Performance lens, not just pain relief
Jovaughn looks at how your body is (or isn’t) working under activity—whether that’s workouts, long days on your feet, or daily stress—and treats with that in mind.
Athlete-informed treatment
His own background in basketball and training shows up in the work: targeted, efficient, and focused on helping your body recover without losing momentum.
Reset + recalibrate
Sessions are designed to do two things at once—address the issue and help your system downshift—so you leave not just looser, but more coordinated and grounded.
Orthopedic Approach
Jovaughn’s advanced training includes orthopedic massage, sports massage, and manual lymphatic drainage, combined with a movement-focused approach shaped by his background in athletics and performance training.

What shapes Jovaughn's work
Jovaughn McNeal’s path into bodywork was shaped by years of athletics and firsthand experience with injury. Growing up in the Bronx and playing basketball, he developed an early understanding of how performance and recovery go hand in hand—and how frustrating it can be when the body doesn’t cooperate.
That curiosity led him to study massage therapy at Pacific College of Health and Science, where he began building a clinical foundation in orthopedic and sports-based treatment. Over the past five years, he has worked with a wide range of clients—from athletes managing performance demands to individuals dealing with chronic tension and stress-related pain.
His sessions reflect both sides of that experience: structured enough to address real issues, but flexible and intuitive enough to meet the body where it is that day. Clients often appreciate that his work feels purposeful without being rigid—effective, but still allowing the nervous system to settle.
