Lead Massage Therapist
Briana Goldstrow, LMT
Briana Goldstrow, LMT (she/her) brings a lifetime exposure to hands-on healing into her clinical massage practice. Raised in a family of manual therapists, she developed an early understanding of how precise touch can influence pain, movement, and recovery. Today, she integrates Eastern and Western manual therapy approaches to support clients through prenatal care, postpartum recovery, TMJ dysfunction, migraines, GI-related tension patterns, scar tissue work, and complex pain presentations.
Briana frequently helps clients with TMJ & teeth grinding, migraines and chronic headaches, diastasis recti, C-section scar mobility, hip and pelvic pain, tech-neck, chronic stress and burnout, and posture-driven tension patterns.

WHY Briana
Precise work.
Clear next steps.
Briana combines prenatal expertise, medical massage training, and movement literacy into structured treatment plans that respect both acute symptoms and long-term function.
Perinatal & Scar Tissue Specialist
As a DONA-trained doula with advanced prenatal/postpartum experience, Briana supports clients through pregnancy, birth recovery, and early parenthood with clinical clarity — not fragility.
She is also skilled in scar tissue mobilization (C-section, abdominal, orthopedic), diastasis recti support, and pelvic and hip stabilization patterns.
Her work in this area is structured and informed — not spa-style “prenatal relaxation.”
TMJ, GI & Stress-Driven Patterns
Briana has a particular interest in jaw tension, migraines, GI-related holding patterns, and sleep disruption. She looks at how the diaphragm, ribcage, abdomen, and cranial structures interact — especially when stress is a driver.
Clients who clench, grind, or “hold it in their gut” often respond well to her layered approach.
Raised in Manual Medicine
Briana grew up in a household rooted in osteopathy and shiatsu. Touch, structural alignment, and energetic balance weren’t abstract concepts — they were daily conversation.
That early exposure shaped her sensitivity to subtle tissue changes and whole-body alignment. She naturally blends Eastern and Western manual frameworks rather than separating them.
Dancer’s Body Awareness
As a former dancer and gymnast, Briana understands how small imbalances ripple through the body. She works particularly well with posture-driven patterns, joint instability, and overuse strain because she knows firsthand how mechanics influence longevity.
Her sessions often include alignment assessment and corrective cueing — not just tissue work.
Best Fit
Is Briana the right therapist for you?

• TMJ, migraine, and headache patterns
• GI-related abdominal tension and nervous system dysregulation
• Scar tissue mobilization needs
• Clients wanting education and self-massage tools between visits
• Former athletes or movers who appreciate body awareness coaching
Not the best fit if you want:
• A purely spa-style relaxation massage without assessment
• Extremely heavy pressure as the primary goal
• One-off sessions with no interest in understanding contributing patterns

What shapes Briana's work
Briana’s interest in bodywork began early. With one parent practicing osteopathy and another trained in Shiatsu, she grew up witnessing firsthand how skillful touch could shift pain and restore balance. That early exposure evolved into formal training at the Swedish Institute College of Health Sciences, where she developed a strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, and clinical reasoning.
As a former dancer and gymnast, Briana understands how repetitive strain, alignment issues, and nervous system overload can accumulate over time. Her movement background informs her ability to see patterns that extend beyond a single complaint. She works especially well with clients navigating prenatal and postpartum transitions, TMJ dysfunction, chronic headaches, GI-related tension, sleep disruption, and scar tissue restrictions.
In addition to her NYS massage license, Briana is a DONA-trained doula and has specialized training in prenatal massage, infant massage, myofascial release, reflexology, lymphatic drainage, trigger point therapy, and Alexander-based movement awareness. She emphasizes education and body literacy—teaching clients simple self-massage and awareness tools so progress continues outside the treatment room.
Her approach is structured but warm: clinical without being cold, thorough without being overwhelming. The goal is not temporary relief—it’s helping the body reorganize and move toward sustainable balance.
