Book a session with Ben
  • Evaluation first—then targeted work

Ben listens closely to your history and performs practical movement checks to identify where coordination or load-sharing has broken down.

  • Integrated, orthopedic-based treatment

Sessions may include deep tissue, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, and active or passive stretching—applied strategically based on what your body needs that day.

  • Re-test and refine

He reassesses key movements before you leave so you can feel measurable change, not just generalized relief.

  • Time, not menu

You book 60 or 90 minutes. After evaluation, Ben chooses the right blend of techniques—no spa-style modality menu.

  • Best Fit

Is Ben the right therapist for you?

    A great fit if you:

You may work especially well with Ben if you:

    • Feel “tight everywhere” but suspect there’s a deeper pattern underneath
    • Want mobility that feels coordinated, not just looser
    • Are a performer, athlete, or movement-focused individual
    • Appreciate focused deep work balanced with flow
    • Value understanding how different body regions influence one another

Not the best fit if you want:

    • You are looking strictly for a relaxation-only spa massage
    • You prefer extremely deep pressure without movement work or pacing
    • You do not want assessment, feedback, or re-testing

    What shapes Ben's work

Ben’s approach to massage therapy is rooted in the understanding that the body functions as an interconnected system. Graduating as Valedictorian from the Cortiva Institute in 2019, he developed an orthopedic foundation early in his training and has continued refining his ability to identify and address movement imbalances.

As both a therapist and performer, Ben appreciates how subtle restrictions can affect rhythm, coordination, and overall performance. He approaches sessions with an emphasis on restoring healthy, fluid mobility rather than simply reducing surface tension. Deep tissue work, myofascial release, active and passive stretching, trigger point therapy, and Swedish circulation techniques are integrated thoughtfully—never randomly applied.

Clients often describe his sessions as structured yet seamless. Ben pays attention to how tension in one region may be compensating for instability or restriction elsewhere. By addressing these relationships, he helps clients regain a sense of grounded balance throughout the body.

Outside the studio, Ben enjoys playing and listening to music, hiking throughout the Hudson Valley, and hosting competitive board game nights with friends. (If you have a favorite artist, hiking recommendation, or strategy game—he’s all ears.)

    What Clients Notice

I always try to see Ben when I go (he’s amazing!). He always takes my concerns and different areas of stress into account during the session to ensure that I get the most out of the 60 minutes. I’ve always supported the Bodyworks model of having the benefits of the massage extend beyond the hour I’m there as opposed to other massages where you feel relaxed but only temporarily. I truly feel like I am getting relief from pain and discomfort that come from the stresses of daily life.
