Other Studio Policies

We want every visit at Bodyworks DW to feel smooth, respectful, and transparent. Clear guidelines help us create a steady, fair environment — for clients, therapists, and the studio. These policies aren’t here to trip anyone up; they’re simply how we make sure expectations are clear and everyone’s time is respected.

Gratuities
The massage therapy we provide is medical and therapeutic, not spa-style service. Our rates are set to fairly compensate our therapists without requiring tips.
- Tips are never required, though always appreciated.
- At checkout, you can select the tip amount that feels right — or choose “no tip.”
- Either way, you’ll always receive the same high level of care.
Packages
(This applies to any remaining sessions you may have on packages purchased before our Wellness Wallets were introduced.)
When you purchased a package, you locked in savings for a specific therapist level and session length.
- Packages cannot be transferred between therapist levels or session lengths.
- If you book outside your package terms, you’ll simply pay the regular rate for that session.
- After a studio-wide rate increase, you have 12 months to use your remaining sessions at the old rate. After that, the new rate applies (with one full package honored at the previous rate).
- If your therapist is promoted, you may continue using your package with them at their old rate for up to 6 months before upgrading to the new level or purchasing a new package.
Late Arrivals
To keep the schedule running smoothly:
- If you arrive late, your session will still end at the originally scheduled time.
- This allows your therapist to prepare properly for the next client.
- Even a shortened session can still be helpful — it’s always better than missing out entirely.
Payment
We accept cash, all major credit cards, and Apple Pay.
- All clients must keep a valid credit card on file so we can fairly uphold our cancellation policy.
- You’re always welcome to pay in cash at checkout if you prefer.
Our rates are all-inclusive, and our therapists are compensated with higher commissions so they’re paid fairly without relying on gratuities.
FAQ
Why do you require a credit card on file?
It allows us to consistently and fairly enforce our 24-hour cancellation policy, ensuring therapists are paid for the time you reserved.
Do I have to tip my therapist?
No. Tips are optional. Our pricing already ensures fair compensation for your therapist.
What happens if I arrive late?
Your session will still end at the scheduled time so our therapists can stay on track. Even a shorter session can provide real benefit.
