IN-PERSON CLASSROOM CEU • MIDTOWN WEST (NYC)

MFR for Pelvic Realignment: Assessment, Treatment & Strategy

The pelvis sits at the center of everything—but most treatment approaches treat it like just another region.

When the pelvis is off, the effects show up everywhere: low back pain, hip restriction, knee stress, shoulders, neck, and even foot issues.

In this 2-day hands-on course, you’ll learn how to assess pelvic positioning, understand how it influences the rest of the body, and apply myofascial release techniques that create more balanced, sustainable movement patterns.

Early access: Use code TBD for $384 (regularly $480) on the first 4 seats.

THE CLINICAL WHY

If the pelvis isn’t balanced, the rest of the body has to compensate.

The pelvis isn’t just a structure—it’s a load-transfer hub between the upper and lower body.

When it’s not positioned or moving well, forces don’t distribute evenly. The result is compensation patterns that show up as pain or restriction elsewhere—often far from the pelvis itself.

Most treatments either:

  • focus too locally (hips, low back)
  • or try to “correct” posture without understanding what’s driving it

That’s why results often don’t hold.

This course shifts the focus from “fixing the pelvis” to understanding how to influence it—by changing how load is distributed across the system.

You’ll learn how to assess pelvic positioning, identify asymmetries, and apply myofascial release techniques that improve how the body organizes itself under load.

WHO THIS IS FOR

Built for therapists who want to understand how everything connects—not just treat isolated pain

Great fit if you want to...

  • Therapists working with recurring low back, hip, or SI-related issues
  • LMTs seeing patterns that don’t resolve with local treatment
  • Practitioners wanting to understand load distribution more clearly
  • Therapists ready to think beyond “tight vs weak”

Not ideal if you…

  • Therapists looking for simple pelvic correction routines
  • Beginners without a solid anatomy or assessment foundation
  • Passive learners who prefer technique lists without reasoning

IN THE ROOM

Skills you can use the very next workday

  • Work on the structures most therapists avoid—but that often matter most

In this course, you’ll learn how to work with key structures including the psoas, iliacus, diaphragm, pelvic floor, and adductors—safely, effectively, and in context of the full body.

These are some of the most influential structures in pelvic positioning but also the ones therapists tend to avoid—because they’re deeper, more sensitive, or less familiar.

But these aren’t “advanced” because they’re complicated—they’re advanced because they require better understanding and clearer intent.

  • Assess pelvic positioning and asymmetry

Identify how the pelvis is oriented and how that affects movement

  • Apply myofascial release with clear intent

Work on hips, low back, and surrounding structures more effectively

  • Improve movement without forcing alignment

Influence positioning through better system organization

  • Design more effective treatment sessions

Integrate pelvic work into full-body treatment strategy

  • A clear plan—so you know exactly what you’re buying
